Here are many more Mac Gafraidh's
Written by Uilleam Mac Gafraidh
Here is a place that we list some folks that might appear in our stories, this section is to serve as a small introduction to another side of the complexity that is the family of the Mac Gafraidh’s.
These people are what we would call “extended family” I mean that in that they are not in the family unit that is Chelsea and Uilleam. In many cases they are brothers, parents and other members of the family. This is a kind of Roll of Honour of folks who really mean a lot to us.
Chelsea’s family
Valeri (Mither)
Valeri is the on call babysitter, grandmother, agony aunt and many other things to us. Uilleam has nicknamed her “Mither” for the purpose of this exercise. She is Chelsea’s mother and original bearer of Tabitha’s middle name. She helps in so many ways and in order to list them all would take more pages than I am comfortable writing.
Mac Domhnaill
This of course is the name in Gaelic for Mc Donald. Chelsea’s brother Bryce wife Devi and their family are a tremendous help, inspiration and for spending such wonderful quality time with us. Spending time with you guys is a pleasure and never a chore.
Runnings
Chelsea’s oldest brother Shannon, his wife Vickie and their many offspring are a daily reminder to us to always keep your doors open in ministry. Shannon’s spirit of adoption is both to be admired and lauded. He leads his family well with his help meet at his side.
Uilleam’s family
Maw and Paw
Uilleam’s father and mother, although the do not live in the states are forever in our thoughts. They are frequent visitors to the USA and we have a deep love for them. They are so generous of both their time and Uilleam’s mother Fiona’s love language is a gift of giving. Uilleam loves the quiet times with his father Alex.
Andy and Tish
Uilleam’s brother Andy is very much in Uilleam’s thoughts on a daily basis as are his 3 children and 2 grandchildren. His wife Tish is a wonderful woman who is patient, kind and thoughtful. Andy’s passion is golf as well as being a good family man. Uilleam misses him lots.
This was just a quick run down of the folks that mean a lot to us and who are family. We hope that this quick introduction will serve you well as you hear them mentioned from time to time in our articles.
God bless
