On this page we have a look at missionaries that we pray for and would like to hold up in prayer for folks who would ordinarily not pray for them. Our hope is that this inspires you to think about missions work in the country we have listed, in this case we have listed Kenya.

If you feel led to contact the missionaries then we would encourage you to do so,  every missionary loves to receive words of encouragement and support. Also if you feel led to support them financially as well as in prayer, we would encourage that also.

For those of you who have no idea where Kenya is, well it is a mountainous land in the eastern part  of Africa. It’s largest city is Nairobi, the country has a strong athletic reputation for long and middle distance running. We know two families who are currently serving the LORD in this land, they are listed below:

The Kliebe’s

We are proud to introduce Jacob & Noelle Kliebe who are missionaries to Kenya from CC Hillsboro in Oregen.

We first met Jacob & Noelle after being introduced by Pastor Matt Mc Goldrick at the CC Missions Conference in Murrieta in January of 2009. We spend quite some time with them and really struck a chord with them.

Jacob & Noelle have been blessed with a baby girl during their missions trip (As if going on a mission was not hard enough!)

They also have had to overcome a language barrier and Jacob has had to learn Swahili in order to begin Bible studies with the locals.

They also have started a site to share their pictures with all the folks that pray for them

Also they have been living with other friends of ours that are also over in Kenya, they are the Pottengers

The Pottengers

We first met Matthew and Peggy Pottenger when they came to Vission Calvary Chapel of Porterville to talk about their works in Kenya, being of a missions heart my ears instanlty pricked up.

Matthe and Peggy came from CC Shoreline in Morro Bay in California, they are also joined on the mission field by their daughter.

We feel blessed to know them and also blessed to be kept informed of what is going on in Kenya. God is doing a mighty work in Kenya, we only get to hear but a ripple in the ocean of what is going on.

God is starting Bible studies, women teaching women and also womens conferences.  It would be better for me to allow them to tell you about this themselves,  feel free to click their links below to find out more about this work of the LORD.

We hope you have enjoyed this short introduction to these missionaries and we hope that you will pray for them as often as we do.

God bless
