Flag of Scotland - The Saltire
Written by Uileam Mac Gafraidh
On this page we have a look at missionaries that we pray for and would like to hold up in prayer for folks who would ordinarily not pray for them. Our hope is that this inspires you to think about missions work in the country we have listed, in this case we have listed Scotland.
If you feel led to contact the missionaries then we would encourage you to do so, every missionary loves to receive words of encouragement and support. Also if you feel led to support them financially as well as in prayer, we would encourage that also.
The Keys family
The first group of missionaries we would like to introduce is a group that we first met at Calvary Chapel in Glasgow. Scott and Danielle Key are the embodiment of missions work; they are kind, thoughtful and have a genuine love for people.
Scott and Danielle came from Southern California to minister in Scotland from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.
Scott has an infectious spirit and he loves working with the youth of where he has been called in Shotts in Lanarkshire. So much so that a ministry has been built around the youth of that small mining town in the heart of Scotland.
Scott now leads and pastors at Cornerstone Christian Ministries which is based in Shotts and has a family of two children. He also stars in a punk band called Voice of the Mysterons.

The Mc Goldricks
Matthew Mc Goldrick has been a missionary in Scotland for at least 7 years now and is pastor of Calvary Chapel in Glasgow. He has a lovely wife called Jenny and a daughter.
Matt is originally from San Diego in California, he married his wife Jenny in 2004, she is originally from Alabama. Matt and Jenny are the ultimate hosts. If hospitality was an art form, you would be looking at Michelangelo and Picasso.
Matt was originally Uilleam’s pastor when he became a Christian and was a major influence in his life, due to this Uilleam’s parents and cousin Dave are now attending Calvary Chapel Glasgow.
Matt is a diligent and godly man who is fervent in study and leads his house in a Godly example. He returns home to the states every year for the Calvary Chapel Missions conference.

We hope you have enjoyed this short introduction to these missionaries and we hope that you will pray for them as often as we do.
God bless
